Going from Gospel to life, and life to the Gospel.
The Transitus motto is "Going from Gospel to life, and life to the Gospel." It is a well-fitting and all-encompassing mission statement and synopsis of our nature and purpose, our school of perfection, and our rule of lay monastic life and apostolate.
There are countless truths one can draw from this one phrase, and one can easily see it is a simple summation of the Christian life for all God’s People. It is the duty of Transitus members to pray, study, meditate, and work to articulate and demonstrate this motto throughout the rest of their lives as Christians, as lay monastics, and specifically as Transitus Oblates.
